Growing Confident Readers is a course for parents who want to improve their children’s reading skills at home through fun, nurturing activities. The course is very systematic and intentional, following the proper phonics sequence that all children must master. Growing Confident Readers also supports parents in understanding how children learn to read and provides the information you need to best communicate with your child’s teachers, doctors, and specialists. The course is suited to support children receiving reading instruction elsewhere through preschool, elementary, or home-school curriculum. You will learn which books to read, which games to play, which writing activities to implement and which phonics skills to teach without providing a structured homework time, which can lead to burning out.
